Prakash Bhatia, MD, PhD has more than 20 years’ experience in the treatment of patients with Psychiatric and Substance Use Disorders along with the most severe forms of depression and anxiety disorders. He is the Medical Director of Psychiatry at both Paradise Valley and Alvarado Hospitals where he has assumed leadership roles in bringing the best evidence based treatment to those with the most severe symptoms. Dr. Bhatia enjoys helping those who suffer from mood and anxiety disorders, addictions and a wide range of conditions that allow him to utilize his extensive experience in Psychiatric procedures such as TMS and Spravato (ketamine).
Dr. Bhatia completed medical school both MD, PhD in Neuroscience at: University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, residency at Washington University School of Medicine, and a fellowship at the University of California San Diego Medical Center. He is board certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Mohammed Bari is a compassionate psychiatrist with a dedication to serving military families in Southern California. Dr. Valentin Isacescu brings over 21 years of medical experience in psychiatry and addiction to Advanced TMS Clinic’s Oceanside location. With a strong commitment to supporting military families and active duty members at Camp Pendleton, Dr. Isacescu has developed extensive expertise in mental health care tailored to the unique needs of service members. As an active member of the Clinical TMS Society and trained on NeuroStar TMS, he provides evidence-based, compassionate care for those seeking relief from treatment-resistant depression and anxiety.
In addition to his work in TMS, Dr. Isacescu is a seasoned researcher. As Owner, CEO, and Principal Investigator at North County Clinical Research, he has conducted over 150 clinical trials over the past 15 years, advancing mental health treatments through rigorous research. Dr. Isacescu has also been an attending physician with the Scripps Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program for more than 12 years, demonstrating his dedication to comprehensive addiction treatment.
Dr. Isacescu earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Bucharest Institute of Medicine and Pharmacy, School of General Medicine, in 1980. His broad expertise and commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care make him a valuable asset to our team at Advanced TMS Clinic.
Dr. Gregory Paniccia is a seasoned psychiatrist with 34 years of experience, specializing in treatment-resistant depression, anxiety therapies, and OCD. He earned his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University Chicago Medical School in 1990. Trained on both MagVenture and NeuroStar TMS devices, Dr. Paniccia is highly skilled in delivering advanced, evidence-based TMS therapy to help patients find relief when traditional treatments haven’t worked. Dr. Paniccia provides compassionate, expert care at Advanced TMS Clinic’s National City location, committed to improving mental health and well-being for his patients.
Corey Scott, PharmD, is a compassionate healthcare provider dedicated to supporting individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and addiction. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy in 2012 after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2008. In 2018, he received his Advanced Practice Pharmacist designation, furthering his commitment to accessible, high-quality care for his patients.
Corey has been performing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) since 2019, trained on various TMS systems, including Apollo, Brainsway, MagVenture, and NeuroStar. As a member of the Clinical TMS Society, he keeps up-to-date on advancements in TMS and interventional psychiatry. Corey believes in the primary principle of pharmacology: “the least amount of medication that is effective”—and sometimes, that means none at all when TMS is an option.
Currently, Corey serves as the Chief Operating Officer of both Pacific Health Systems and Advanced TMS Clinic, where he also provides TMS consultations and educational support for his colleagues. His approach combines clinical expertise with genuine compassion, offering patients effective, medication-free options for improving their mental health.
Jeff Landon, PA-C, CAQ-Psy has over 10 years’ experience in treating patients with psychiatric & behavioral disorders. He is affiliated with both Paradise Valley and Alvarado Hospitals. He has experience treating a wide array of psychiatric disorders, addiction. He also has experience in: Primary Care, Internal Medicine, and Pain Management.
Jeff received his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Chatham University in 2013. He has been employed at the: University Neuropsychiatric Institute in Salt Lake City, UT and Pacific Medical Care/Pacific Bay Recovery in San Diego, CA. He is currently employed at Pacific Health Systems in San Diego, CA working in Psychiatry.
Dr. Dolnak has been involved in the treatment and clinical research of CNS medical conditions for over 35 years. He is CEO of a local corporation that does consulting medical services at Pacific Health Systems for over 14 years.
He completed a pharmacy degree from Butler University College of Pharmacy. He completed a medical degree from University of Health Sciences in Kansas City. He also completed a neuropsychopharmacology research fellowship at the University of San Diego.
Jenna Gomez, Medical Assistant has 9 years’ experience in healthcare. She has 4 years of experience specifically in Psychiatry. She has been certified as a TMS Treater for 4 years and is trained on MagVenture and Neurostar TMS machines. She received her Medical Assistant Certification from PIMA Medical Institute in 2014.
Norma Wiggins is an experienced TMS Technician trained on both the MagVenture and NeuroStar TMS machines. With over a decade of experience as an administrative assistant to Dr. Bari, Norma has developed a deep compassion for those facing mental health challenges. Her extensive background in patient care and her warm, understanding approach make her an invaluable part of the Advanced TMS Clinic team. Norma is committed to providing a supportive, reassuring experience for every patient, helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout their TMS treatment journey.
Cecilia Piazza is a dedicated TMS Technician at Advanced TMS Clinic’s Oceanside location, trained on the NeuroStar TMS system. She works closely with Dr. Valentin Isacescu, providing compassionate and skilled care to our patients, particularly the military families and active duty members near Camp Pendleton.
